MKAIS is a cloud-based solution that handles acquisition, aggregation and analysis of ship traffic information collected fromour satellite constellation. It combines industry-standard architectural, process and product development approach while maintaining tight control over data security. Proprietary algorithms give us precise and up to date data that is available through various channels for use.

MKAIS provides professional yet accessible ship monitoring tools based on our own data acquired from our constellation in a web-UI. API-based integration available for customers with advanced in-house IT solutions.

Fleet management built into MKAIS is the key feature for having control over your fleet current status. You can assign ships to groups to have a better focus on specific ships on the live map. Applying “My fleet only” filter on the map provides more clarity on overall traffic minimizing distraction fromships outside of your interest. For API users Fleet provides a simple way to manage the list of your ships and getting a response without having to specify ship MMSI each time.

Since launch, MKAIS gather information on over 430k vessels globally. Particulars are constantly update with new information from AIS and relevant sources to provide detailed information on the vessel. In addition to the static details our system processes voyage information to give overall statistics to measure ship performance against the benchmarks.

Our port catalog includes over 3600 marine ports and major terminals with port characteristics, boundaries, services together with current time and weather, with details regularly updated. Enhanced destination processing methods give overview of future port calls, as well as historical arrivals as well as nearby ships.

In addition to live data, History section works as a time machine allowing going back to a certain date and time to identify previous ship positions going beyond the current ship track available on the main map. Applications include incident analysis, monitoring ship traffic patterns, marine pollution investigations, identifying illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.

MKAIS provides a list of pre-defined major marine regions called geofences, which allows quickly focusing on the area of interest to identify vessels within its boundaries. Users can also define geometry of their own geofences with custom name and highlight by importing data fromin-house GIS.
